Howdy! Thank you for visiting my blog. I'm a God-fearing, Jesus-loving, woman of faith, oldest child of two, quiet and reserved lady.
My name is Crystal and my closest friends and family often call me Sunshine (hence the blog title "Rays of Sunshine"). I started this blog to document my new life essentially. I was married January 1st, 2011 to the love of my life and best friend, Garrett. I was raised in a Christian home and have always gone to church. When I met Garrett and then later his family, I knew there was something more to this relationship. It was definitely a God-thing. He too was raised in the church and comes from a strong support system. I couldn't see myself with any one else. As cliche as it seems, I believe we were made for each other.
We live on a decent amount of land with several animals and hopefully more to come. We love our church home and share a love for Christ, and are both avid Orlando Magic fans, Tampa Bay Rays fans, nascar fans (me for Harvick and him for Kyle Busch), and love just about anything outdoorsy. We both also love line dancing; after-all, we did meet at a line dance country bar. You can read our story HERE.
We are the parents of three sweet girls, Grace Lynn, Scarlett Lily, and Shelby Laine. We cannot imagine life without any one of them. They bring a smile to my face each and every day! As you can see this blog also pretty much revolves around them and how they are changing/growing up right before our eyes. This pretty much explains my girls to me:
